A Microfiche Machine Offers Low Cost Scanning
So you are looking for a microfiche machine. If so, you probably have some microfiche cards and you need to view the contents in it. Some people when looking for a microfiche machine, find a microfiche viewer. These microfiche machines are different from a microfiche scanner. A microfiche viewer projects an image for viewing, while a microfiche scanner creates a digital file to view in a computer.
These two distinctly different microfiche machines are widely used for the same reason. However, the scanner is the modern microfiche machine that is recommended because it offers the user a great deal of functionality. The images that a microfiche machine creates as pdf or jpegs, can be stored in your computer just as a digital picture. Microfiche machines of these type are very expensive and are usually bout by large a microfiche scanning company. You can contact us if you have a handful of microfiche cards or many thousands of microfiche and you want our microfiche machine to convert your images to digital. Our microfiche machine can generate whatever format images you like.
The advanced microfiche machine we use is extremely advanced and creates very high quality files. These files can be copied to a pc and sent through the internet. The difference between a viewing microfiche machine and a scanning microfiche machine is like day and night. The price is very different, but with the help of a scanning company, you don’t need to worry about the cost. In fact, the cost to use our microfiche machine can be cents per image.Copyright G.I. Convert Microfilm to Digital Images: Military Records
Military records for public search can be available for you today. Did you know public archives contain historical records that can help you find valuable information concerning your past? The National Archives system has plenty of historical information on previous military activities we well. If you are interested in finding information about you or someone you know, you can research some of these archive systems or contact us for more information.
If you find historical records in the system, you can request a copy of the records for yourself. There is an enormous amount of military records kept on microfilm rolls. After the information on microfilm is digitized, we can also OCR the images for you. OCR means Object Character Recognition. OCR will allow you to search for some specific information that is on the military records by using the search option that is available on all free PDF viewers. You may be looking for one specific name within a document that contains hundreds of other names, either way an OCR’ed PDF document allows to do a search to find the name you want.
Generation Imaging specializes in digitizing 16mm microfilm and 35mm microfilm. Many military records that you can get on roll film can be scanned and converted to digital format, like TIFF, PDF, or JPEG. We are geared up to perform this microfilm conversion method for you. If you have military records or any other type of record or information kept on any type of microfilm, contact us for a microfilm conversion. We can digitize your military records and OCR the images using state of the art equipment. Let us know if we can help you locate the records you are interested in.
You may be interested in one or more of the records stored in the archive system. You may be interested in locating information about an event you participated in and we may be able to assist you in the process. Send us the roll film and we will create a final product on a CD, DVD, or FTP. You can then store the historical information on your computer, make copies, e-mail the images, use them for a court case, print a book, or whatever you’d like.Copyright G.I. Partners, LLC

Genealogy Microfiche Scanning: Small Volume Microfiche Digitizing
Many microfilm scanning service bureaus overcharge ($250) for converting a few microfiche cards to digital image (PDF or TIFF). But let’s say you are a genealogy researcher, mechanic trying to read motorcycle parts microfiche, or a small engineering firm that has a handful of microfiche to be digitized? What to do when you get turned down or get up-charged for microfiche scanning. That’s where Generation Imaging comes into play.
You may have come to the right place to scan your microfiche. We specialize in servicing the microfiche industry by scanning your small volume microfiche projects as well as the high volume variety.
Many people have contacted us to scan one roll of microfilm or a couple of microfiche cards. Microfilm service providers often decline you if you only have 1 or 2 microfiche cards to scan. Scanning service bureaus do not like to stop production to scan a hand full of microfiche cards or a few aperture cards. Contact us for any size job of microfilm or microfiche and we shall accommodate your needs.
We value all of our clients equally and have always promise to provide the same level of service even if you have two microfiche cards to scan. We recognize that for each customer, their needs are just as essential as the next one, regardless of the size of the scanning job. Additionally, we make sure priorities and commitments to you are met so your project will be completed on time. Small scanning jobs are not as profitable as large scanning jobs but we make sure that this fact does not interfere with job priority.
Customer satisfaction is always our number one concern. This is the reason why you can always count with us to digitize one microfiche card at a fair flat rate price. In addition to scanning your small microfiche collection, we can also index the images for you. Big or small, any microfiche conversion job you may have can be done with us.
A small microfiche conversion job of just a few microfiche cards may need to be processed in a very short quantity of time. We have been able to deliver small microfiche conversion projects very promptly. We also take care of the security of the data we deliver, and we have never lost or damaged any microfiche. Therefore, you don’t have to worry.
Contact Generation Imaging next time you have a need to scan a microfiche card. Your project will be returned in a very short time- generally a business week.
